The item was shipped in a cardboard box and protected with polystyrene inserts. The price was reasonable (bought with a discount), and delivery was on time. It came with an accessories box (screws, drive handles, etc.) but no manual—though info is available online. The case arrived in good condition overall, but the top panel was slightly bent inward, causing one edge to stick out a bit. It’s a minor cosmetic flaw but worth mentioning. The case feels solid and well-built. It includes removable dust filters. I haven’t tested the backplane yet, so I can’t comment on that. The case is compact, and I really appreciate that it can hold up to 8 hard drives with easy access. The magnetic cover for the drive cage is strong and stays in place. Overall, I’m satisfied with the purchase.
